1912-S Rare and Toned Barber Quarter in Mint State, PCGS MS-62

Here is a beautiful and very rare 1912-S Barber Quarter, graded mint state MS 62 by PCGS. Coin has some very nice toning! The Barbers are very difficult to find in uncirculated grades as these coins saw very heavy use in the days when we used silver coin rather than credit cards. It is estimated that only 300 of these coins survive in mint state, for an overall rarity of R-6.4 in MS 60 or above. For a mind-bending reference, that is fewer coins than the classic silver quarter rarity, the 1916 Standing Liberty Quarter.

I'd rather have this coin, even more scarce and less than a tenth of the cost. This is certainly a coin that has solid potential for going up in value (unlike the 1916 Standing Liberty). You will not be disappointed, but just in case I offer a 14-day return.
